Celluloid - Fiber - Wood - Glass etc. None of these button have markings. Some of these were removed from ruined German clothing and some came with groups of pebbled buttons.  I've had some for over 30 years and can't remember what they came off of but I believe they are all old German or German military. Many M-43 caps didn't have pebbled buttons. These would be acceptable for restoration or for re-enactors.
