M-35 Double Decal Heer Helmet
This one has character!  A classic double decal M-35 Army helmet, The shell is an "ET64 / 3443"  with about  80% apple green paint. The Eagle decal is around 90% with crazing. The national shield is about 95%,  The liner is by a rare maker,  "Berlin Kofferfabrik - Inh. Max Densow - Berlin 1937", Max Densow's liners are easily spotted by the unique stitching on the rear of the liner. The stitches follow the edge of the finger. The leather has seen light to medium use and is still pliable. The edge has light surface wear all the way around but is not dry rotted at all. There is a name penciled on the liner,  "Blum K"?? or "Blan K"?? or "BllaaK"?? I can't make it out. It has the original tie string.  The liner band is the early Aluminum type with no braces.  The chinstrap is marked "G. Schiell - Loburg 1937" and has an Aluminum buckle.  A  very desirable helmet!  Not cheap but a good investment that will only continue to grow in value!   $3400.
